Salmon with turmeric and mustard seeds - Gluten free

After the excesses of Christmas and New Years i thought for January a lighter, healthier, almost detox like month... Of course... There will be the odd cake here and there to brighten the dark winter!
This is an easy and quick recipe to do.
Serves4:
Salmon marinate:
4 medium size salmon filets (1per person)
Half tsp of turmeric
Salt and pepper (black or cayenne) to taste

Rub the the salmon filets with the dry ingredients and marinade for 20 minutes.
Start cooking the basmati rice following package instructions just before you start cooking the salmon.
On a frying pan, heat a couple of table spoons of olive oil. When the oil is hot add 1tsp of mustard seeds. They quickly start popping and then add a sprinkle of fennel seeds and another of cumin seeds.
Quickly add the salmon and fry, skin down for 2minutes. On a small bowl add 1/2 teaspoon of turmedic and 10 tbs of water and make a paste. Once the heat is lower, add gently the turmeric paste and cook the rest of the salmon slowly in this sauce. The salmon will take about 10minutes to cook.
Your rice and brocolli should be ready by now so all you have to do is serve it and enjoy!
